March 22, 2014 - National Championship and American Record

Exactly one month after setting the American record for the 200m breaststroke, Emma Reaney was back in the pool. This time she would be swimming for the NCAA National Championship. Reaney would win the championship with a time of 2:04.06. This time was 0.28 seconds faster than the record she set earlier and today she broke the NCAA/Open/American record she set.

Reaney's championship for the 200m breaststroke is Notre Dame's first individual championship for swimming and diving.
